"Thank you so much for your outstanding hospitality. We appreciated that you waited up for us the first night we arrived (very late) The next morning you had the most delicious breakfast. It was perfect! We loved the scenery, accommodations, great conversation, skiing at Bridger and Big Sky, MSU visit w/ jazz concert and last but not least your friendly welcoming pal Charlie- your remarkably sensitive companion. We will see you in the future. E. is smitten with the area and we will probably roadtrip with his dorm stuff in late summer 2012. FYI, we'll need a place to stay!" LS & ES, December 8, 2011.

In our opinion, nothing is more important to a mountain getaway than being able to sit around a fire and weave tales of your daily adventures. The Silver Forest Great Room is a perfect venue for this, whether it is sharing camaraderie with the close friends you are traveling with or conversing with new like minded souls. This is the major common area of the Inn and certainly a place you will enjoy. A roaring fire, mountain views, and warm atmosphere create the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or to unwind in the evening after a hard day of playing.

Although we do not sell alcoholic beverages, guests are welcome to bring their own (as long as they are 21!). There is a small refrigerator in the Great Room, as well as a bar supplied with ice, glasses and stemware, and snacks nightly. Additionally, there is a piano for the musically inclined, various board games, a computer for guest use, and an extension room with television and DVD along with a movie collection. For groups that take the whole house (and for spontaneous parties that may occur with all guests included), the stereo system is iPod/ MP3 player compatible and is capable of shaking the rafters.
