Such a dirty word... We try hard to make your stay at the Silver Forest as pleasant and pain free as possible. We hate being nickle-and-dimed ourselves, and we abhor small print; so here is our cardinal rule: we will treat you with respect and we ask you to do the same with the Inn (and with us!).
Some of the details:
Duration of Stay: We do not have any minimum stay requirements, but we are prone to give discounts to people who stay longer!
Booking a Room: We do ask for a 50% credit card deposit to confirm a booking. The remainder payable when you leave. We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash and checks from good people. We prefer that your deposit is paid with the same card you would like the final balance paid on- this way we don't have to trouble with any paperwork on-site. Although you can book everything online, we generally like to speak with our guests prior to arrival to learn if you have any special requests and if we can help with your further travel planning/ adventures.
Cancellation: Plans change and things happen. Within 21-days of a booking we will refund the entire amount of your deposit, less $25 for processing and to cover our credit card fees. Less than 14-days, 75% of your deposit will be refunded. Less than 7-days, 50% of deposit.
Pets: We are definitely pet friendly, to friendly dogs and cats. They are welcome to come along as long as they get along with Charlie, the lodge-dog. We do ask for a $10/ night / pet surcharge just to cover our extra effort in hair removal, etc. If you do NOT like dogs, please let us know in advance so we can make sure Charlie is in his kennel for the duration of your stay. If your dog or cat goes to the bathroom in the house, we will charge a $30 cleaning fee.
Discounts: We unfortunately are not part of AAA or other common discount programs. However, we do offer a variety of other discounts; including our 'Nice Person Discount.' We want you to stay with us, because we know you will come back. Give us a call and we will do our best to get you to the Inn!
Damage Deposits: We try hard to stay away from this. If something happens, we will do our best to sort out a solution together.
