"Thank you so much for your outstanding hospitality. We appreciated that you waited up for us the first night we arrived (very late) The next morning you had the most delicious breakfast. It was perfect! We loved the scenery, accommodations, great conversation, skiing at Bridger and Big Sky, MSU visit w/ jazz concert and last but not least your friendly welcoming pal Charlie- your remarkably sensitive companion. We will see you in the future. E. is smitten with the area and we will probably roadtrip with his dorm stuff in late summer 2012. FYI, we'll need a place to stay!" LS & ES, December 8, 2011.

The Silver Forest is all about comfort, location, value, and camaraderie. Although we are a historically listed log-structure, we do try hard to make sure all of the small details are looked after to ensure the satisfaction of your experience. We do try to manage expectations in regards to constantly seeking ways to exceed your expectations. Our house is your house when you stay at the Inn. We do our best to stay away from any sort of 'rules,' and we expect our guests to become friends and visit again in the future.

Some of the small things we offer: wireless internet (free of course, but do to our remote location we are required to use a radio signal versus wired- therefore do not have DSL bandwidth), communal television room with a selection of movies and dish network, an appointed kitchen guests are welcome to use (as long as you clean-up), tea/ hot chocolate/ coffee bar, always some fresh fruit around, snacks at night, refrigerator for guest use, a PC for guests, and just about everything else you would want in your own home. There is very limited cell phone reception at the Inn so we welcome guests to use the house phone at no charge to make and receive calls.

In the bedrooms and bathrooms we provide bathrobes and linens, fine bath products, hairdryers, space heaters for those that run cold, fans for those that run hot, extra blankets, and everything as comfy as possible without being kitsch. If there is something in a room that you would like and may not be there, just ask and we will get it for you.

Around the property we do offer a couple of other niceties. First is our two-person private jacuzzi available on a first-come basis (unless the family suite is in use). The second is our 6+ person outdoor hot tub. The hot tub is located on the main floor deck, with stunning views of Bridger Bowl and the Montana sky. This truly is the perfect spot to unwind with friends after a long-day on the slopes or a hard day exploring the Montana outdoors.
